A family business that started with decks and fences for people we knew, and now builds homes and commercial interiors across Southern Ontario.
CarpentryBoys Inc. is a family-owned general contractor based in Hamilton and run by owners Monank Bhavsar and Naitik Bhavsar. In more than five years we’ve gone from backyard decks and fences to basements, legal second units, kitchens, additions, custom homes and commercial fit-outs for over 200 clients across the GTA, Hamilton and Niagara.
Who we are
Where Craft Meets Lasting Function
CarpentryBoys didn’t start with a business plan. It started with do-it-yourself projects at home, then fences, decks, pergolas, kitchens and bathrooms for family and friends. The work was careful, word got around, and before long the people asking for help weren’t family any more.
That growth set the way we still work. Clients deal with an owner, not a sales rep. Quotes are written and itemised. Permits are pulled, inspections are booked, and if something goes wrong after handover, the same people who built it come back to fix it.
Today we run projects as a general contractor, which means we carry the whole job: drawings with our designers and engineers, permits, licensed trades, scheduling, inspections and cleanup. Homeowners, investors and business owners get one contract and one point of contact from the first visit to the final walkthrough.

Moving indoors
Full basement finishes with bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen and laundry: the start of our interior renovation work.

Legal second units
Permit-ready basement apartments with fire separation, egress windows and separate entrances, registered with the city for rental.
2025
Kitchens, bathrooms and in-law suites
Whole kitchens, spa bathrooms, staircases and main-floor renovations become a large share of our work.
